Grand Valley States claim to #1 spot 7th time in a row

 

Grand Valley State (24-2-1) is the top ranked team again for the #6 M3 Ranking as we head into the final weeks before Nationals.   Lawrence Tech remains at #2, while Missouri jumps to #3 on the heels of their MACHA Playoff Championship.

Hope comes in at #4, flipping with Dartmouth who falls to #5.

 

6 conferences are represented along with several independent teams within the Top 30, with the Michigan College Hockey Conference leading with 8  teams.  Mid-American Collegiate Hockey Association enters with 5 teams while the North East College Hockey Association and Independent teams boast 4 representatives each.  The Indiana Collegiate Hockey Conference claims 2 teams with Metro Collegiate Hockey Conference and College Hockey East each have 1 team.

The Top 16 teams will be invited to the Men’s Division 3 Nationals in St Louis, MO in March.  The next ranking is scheduled to be released on February 20th.
